WELCRON is expanding its international defense business based on its experience in the development and production of personal ballistic protection solutions.

As of 2023, WELCRON had supplied ballistic vests and ballistic plates to overseas markets including Malaysia, the Philippines, Colombia, Australia, and Indonesia, building an international track record across Asia-Pacific and other regions.

The company manufactures protection products for both military and law-enforcement applications, supported by its production and engineering capabilities in advanced fibers and composite materials.

WELCRON has also been expanding its protection technologies beyond personal protection. Based on its experience in ballistic materials and composite structures, the company has continued the development of protection solutions for armored and tactical vehicles in accordance with international protection requirements.

To support the expansion of its defense business, WELCRON began operations at its dedicated defense production facility in Gimhae, Korea, in June 2023, strengthening its manufacturing and development capabilities for future domestic and international programs.

WELCRON DEFENSE continues to build on its experience in Personal Protection, Vehicle Protection, and Naval Protection, pursuing new opportunities with defense manufacturers, government agencies, and international partners.
