WELCRON has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with PT Pindad, Indonesia’s state-owned defense company, to cooperate on the supply of mine protection kits for wheeled armored vehicles.

Through this agreement, WELCRON will establish a cooperation framework with PT Pindad based on its independently developed armored vehicle protection technologies.

PT Pindad is Indonesia’s leading state-owned defense company, developing and manufacturing a wide range of land defense systems, including military vehicles, armored vehicles, small arms, and ammunition. 

The partnership represents an important step in WELCRON’s expansion from personal protection products, including ballistic vests and plates, into advanced protection solutions for armored vehicles and naval platforms.

WELCRON has continued to strengthen its defense capabilities through the development and supply of add-on armor for wheeled armored vehicles, ballistic protection for high-speed and amphibious craft, ballistic protection for light tactical vehicles, and protection solutions for other military platforms.

Through its cooperation with PT Pindad, WELCRON DEFENSE aims to expand its presence in Indonesia and pursue further business opportunities across the Southeast Asian defense market.
